Mommy or Daddy?

So...I always get asked who Brady looks more like, me or Michael. Looking at both of our baby pictures, I see some of both of us in Brady. Obviously, Brady and Michael are both bald little babys, with cute double chins, and I think Brady has my eyes and lips. Still not sure on the nose. Sometimes I say mine, sometimes Michael. Take a look at the pictures below, and make your own comparisons! I would love to hear what ya'll think!!

Another One!

Yup, another tooth has cut through. This time is his top right. I would never even know if he was teething, if it wasn't for the drool! He doesn't fuss...and he already puts everything in his mouth, so thats nothing new! If they only made vaccuum cords as teething toys, Brady would be in heaven! He' s sitting on the couch right now, sucking on an ice cube that I put in his mesh feeder. He seems to be enjoying it...and i'm enjoying the quiet little boy that he is being!

We went out to dinner last Friday. He kept trying to grab my pop, and my knife, and anything else that was in his sight that wasn't his. I gave him some puffs, so we could try to eat in peace. That didn't work. They were just falling all over the ground, and crunched as the waitresses walk by. So, I felt bad and nixed those. Michael had gotten a side of spaghetti with his chicken marsala, so I gave Brady a sauceless noodle! That kept him busy while we ate. He just couldn't get the thing in his mouth, and when he did, he had no idea what to do with it!

Brady's First Valentine!

""WOW! A big red box!"

"I've always wanted one...thanks guys!"

"Whoa, theres something in there!"

"A tag! I love those things!"

"Do you think he'll enjoy having his ears pulled as much as Magglio does?"

"Maybe he'll scoot around and get into things with me?!"

"Man, he's boring...I'll just have to get into trouble alone!"

Ahoy!!

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny Ship.
The mate was a mighty sailin' man, the Skipper brave and sure,
Five passengers set sail that day for a three hour tour.
A three hour tour.
The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew, the Minnow would be lost.
The Minnow would be lost.
The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
With Gilligan, the Skipper too, a Millionaire and his wife,
A movie star, the Professor and Mary Ann, here on Gilligan's Isle.

A Day in the Park

Gorgeous day today. We (Molly and I)decided to celebrate the sunshine and take the lil guy to the park for the first time! Oh boy, did he have fun! He got to swing, and go down the slide and even play in the tubes! Oh, we also saw a celebrity (in the sports world)! Superbowl champ, and Detroit native, Jermone Bettis. He was sporting his Detroit Tigers cap, playing with his son and daughter! Molly and I found this quite exciting, Brady could've cared less!

Wonder Bumpers?! I want some!

Just found this site today... http://www.gomamagodesigns.com/wonder-bumpers
I think these are great idea, especially since Brady now likes to pull on his bumpers, and I need to take them down, but dont want him bumping his head in the middle of the night.

The downfall though? They are EXPENSIVE!!! So, any creative bodies out there should try making them and selling them for MUCH cheaper!!!

Silliness!

I figured out that my video files are too large to upload on my blog, therefor, I must provide the link...so make sure you watch this video!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WD4Km-GeufQ

That is what we do on Saturday nights...sit on the couch and entertain the dog, and Brady, both at the same time! For some reason Brady had a blast being hit, repeatedly, with the soggy dog toy! Hey, it entertained us as well, and hopefully it entertained its viewers also!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their super bowl Sunday. Michael and I are celebrating by cooking some cheesy potatoes, stuffed mushrooms and shrimp boiled in beer and old bay. And yes, we plan on eating it all! We are also craving some nice, juicy steaks, but neither of us are motivated to make another run to the grocery store to pick some up...hopefully one of us (eh, really Im hoping this will be Michael) gets the urge to make a trip to the Fresh Market, for some meat sounds delicious right now!

Go Steelers (honestly, I dont care who wins, but thats my team of choice)!
